I'm Thomas Prouse — founder of the Thomas Prouse Agency, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and former global operations executive. I didn't start my agency because it was the easy path. I founded my agency because I know firsthand what happens to a family when protection fails.

After 8 years of active duty and a 20-year career leading operations at Honeywell Aerospace and TE Connectivity, I retired at 46 and chose to spend this chapter serving others. As a truly independent agency, I work for you — not a carrier, not a quota.

A captive agent works for one insurance company and can only offer that company's products. As an independent agent, I'm contracted with 40+ carriers — which means I shop the entire market to find the best plan for your specific needs and budget, not just what one company offers.

Are consultations really free? +

Yes — completely free and zero obligation. My compensation comes from the carriers, not from you, so there's no charge for my time or guidance. A 30-minute call gives you real answers with no pressure to buy.

Do you only serve Arizona clients? +

No — I'm currently licensed in 19 states and expanding. All consultations are conducted virtually, so I can help you no matter where you live. If you're in a state I'm not yet licensed in, I can typically get licensed within 24 hours.

What information do I need for a consultation? +

Just come as you are. Helpful to have: your household size, general budget range, and any current coverage you have. That's it. I'll guide the rest of the conversation and ask what I need to find the right options for you.

How quickly can coverage begin? +

It depends on the type of coverage. Some plans can be active within 24–48 hours. Others, like ACA health plans, follow enrollment periods. I'll always tell you exactly what to expect and won't leave you guessing.
